Termanology's album, Politics As Usual, will be released on September 30th, 2008 via ST. Records/Nature Sounds. Look for it. He has a nice group of producers so I expect some heat this Fall.

When asked how the collaboration came about, Term stated "Around the time when I released "Watch How It Go Down," Bun B reached out to Premier and expressed interest in working with me." I ended up hangin with Bun at his birthday party in Houston and me preem & bun cooked up this track for my album - "How We Rock."We're shooting a video shortly, look for it!"
Termanology will be releasing his debut LP, Politics As Usual, on September 30th, 2008 via ST. Records/Nature Sounds.
Politics As Usual features a who's who list of producers who chipped in to make Termanology's debut a very, very special record; those producers include: DJ Premier, Pete Rock, Alchemist, Hi-Tek, Havoc, Nottz, Buckwild, Large Professor + Easy Mo Bee.

What the hell is this all about? I thought Jacob was lock up on some perjury charge or something to that effect?... Anyways, "Jacob the Jeweler" is apparently suing Wyclef for $319,680 in unpaid debt.
According to the AP, Jacob and Company Incorporated says in Manhattan court papers filed Tuesday that the hip-hop star bought several items between March 2002 and January 2006 for $765,100. The company says Jean still owes $319,680, despite "repeated demands for payment."

Sounds like a cover up by The Club to hide the fact that their security put them at risk for a HUGE settlement. One thing I know for sure is that record companies have great lawyers! We'll follow this one as new details surface. Heres the statement from Kidz in the Hall management:
Double 0 of Kidz In The Hall badly assaulted by security after performance; Management issues statementJump!
Double O from the hip hop group Kidz In The Hall was assaulted by several bouncers early Saturday morning, July 26, while inside a nightclub in Tempe, AZ following a Kidz In The Hall performance. Group member and friend Naledge, who did not witness the assault on Double O, was arrested outside of the club. Naledge's attempt to get medical assistance for Double O was misconstrued as a hinderence to the investigation. Reports that no injuries were sustained are false as Double O was taken to the hospital with multiple injuries from the excessive force used by club security. On Sunday morning Double O underwent surgery for one of his injuries. He is still in the hospital, but in stable condition.
In the last 2 years, Kidz In The Hall have traveled to over 10 countries, have done 200+ shows and never before been involved in any altercation, big or small, with club or concert security, or police officers.

Ok yall, I been getting some flack about not posting Lloyd leaks in the blog. I admit, I don't particularly care for his music. Now before all you Lloyd fans blast my inbox with the "Im a Hater" emails, Understand, Ive been jaded to his music partly because of radio... I suspect PAYOLA, but that's just my suspicions.. Proof? Remember that song "Get It Shawty" from last summer that was on every radio station at the same time every day!! That shit pissed me off and I swore that the chorus sounded just like the one from "Pump up the Jam!" It drove me crazy! I thought Technotronic was trying to make a come back.
And furthermore, why the hell is he ALWAYS smiling? Something's not right about that... I mean this dude smiles more than Bobby McFerrin and HE wrote a song about being HAPPY!
Maybe one day I'll forgive Lloyd for subjecting me to radio hell one day, but until then spare me the emails! If you really need your Lloyd fix, go get it from eskay or lowkey

All funny shit aside, heres what Luda actually said.
Lyrics:
I'm back on it like I just signed my record deal
yeah the best is here, the Bentley Coup paint is dripping wet, it got sex appeal
never should have hated
you never should've doubted him
with a slot in the president's iPod Obama shattered 'em
Said I handled his biz and I'm one of his favorite rappers
Well give Luda a special pardon if I'm ever in the slammer
Better yet put him in office, make me your vice president
Hillary hated on you, so that b^$&%* is irrelevant
Jesse talking slick and apologizing for what?
if you said it then you meant it how you want it have a gut!
and all you other politicians trying to hate on my man,
watch us win a majority vote in every state on my man
you can't stop what's bout to happen, we bout to make history
the first black president is destined and it's meant to be
the threats ain't fazing us, the nooses or the jokes
so get off your ass, black people, it's time to get out and vote!
paint the White House black and I'm sure that's got 'em terrified
McCain don't belong in ANY chair unless he's paralyzed
Yeah I said it cause Bush is mentally handicapped
Ball up all of his speeches and I throw em like candy wrap
cause what you talking I hear nothing even relevant
and you the worst of all 43 presidents
get out and vote or the end will be near
the world is ready for change because Obama is here!
cause Obama is here

Ever wish that Soulja Boy had never appeared on the rap scene with his little song and dance? Long to shut Plies's mouth with a pair of pliers? Fantasize that Flo Rida would pack up his mike and his muscles and ride off into the sunset?
All of those dreams came true, if only for a day, at Sunday's Rock the Bells festival at Merriweather Post Pavilion. Although it appears that "ring-tone rap" will be around for the foreseeable future, this year's installment of the annual multi-artist hip-hop concert almost managed to ignore current big commercial rap stars, instead transporting attendees back to hip-hop's golden era.
If not for a DJ briefly spinning Shawty Lo's "Dey Know" between sets, attendees could've pretended they were at a hip-hop show circa 1999 -- one with exceptionally good sound and no delays, that is.
That a tour of hip-hop artists who started so long ago can pack a 16,500-capacity venue is a testament to how that music is beloved by the 30-somethings who came of age listening to it -- and reverentially studied by 20-somethings who wish they had.
The day was a successful celebration of the past but didn't really explore the future of the genre, despite the festival's relentless "quality hip-hop still exists" message. Although acts such as the Cool Kids and Kidz in the Hall were on the bill representing the next generation of true school hip-hoppers, they performed on a second stage that didn't attract huge numbers.
Ghostface Killah, perhaps the sole '90s-era rapper on the bill whose newer material is even more acclaimed that his old, was the only performer who dared acknowledge that the brilliant moment in hip-hop where art and commerce were equally balanced seems to have passed: "A lot of [people] support that corny [expletive]," Ghost said. "It's all good, though -- I guess [things] gotta evolve."
ad_icon
Perhaps out of respect for the nostalgic vibe of the day -- or for his colleagues whose 21st-century recordings haven't met with much success -- Ghost, along with fellow Wu-Tang Clan member Raekwon, gave a set in which tracks from 2000's "Supreme Clientele" and assorted Wu material predominated.
If the day was one big hip-hop reunion, Rakim, who emerged after short sets from MURS, Wale, Dead Prez and Immortal Technique, easily nabbed the "most popular" superlative. The crowd -- a good mix of men and women; all races and combinations thereof; old heads and youngsters who wouldn't know that the festival takes its name from an LL Cool J song if it weren't for Wikipedia -- went insane for "Paid in Full" and "Microphone Fiend." Previews of Rakim's long-awaited new album "The Seventh Seal," which may finally land this fall, were met with less enthusiasm.
Wu-Tang's Method Man and longtime collaborator Redman clowned around, crowd-surfed and won big points with the audience by bringing out D.C. legend DJ Kool to perform "Let Me Clear My Throat." The duo gave a thrilling performance of their hit track "How High," but followed it with the disturbing news that a sequel to their film "How High" is in the works.
De La Soul announced that they recently celebrated 20 years together as a trio and referenced their advancing age a few times ("Some of y'all weren't even born at this time," Posdnuos said before launching into 1989's "Potholes in My Lawn"), yet gave one of the most energetic sets of the day, rivaled only by Nas. Perhaps bolstered by the success of his new untitled disc and invigorated by his recent activist streak, the MC gave a performance befitting hip-hop royalty: engaging, nearly chatter-free and focused only on his best material -- "Illmatic" tracks, along with "Made You Look," "If I Ruled the World," "Hate Me Now" and a few other gems.
Q-Tip delayed the much-anticipated Tribe set by offering a solo performance aided only by Mos Def, who had performed his own set earlier in the night. The crowd didn't like it when Tip started performing Tribe material such as "Excursions" before his groupmates made it onstage, but was appeased once Phife and Jarobi came out. Together, the men showcased the incredible staying power not only of tracks such as "Bonita Applebum," "Electric Relaxation" and "Check the Rhime" but of '90s hip-hop as a whole.

50 Cent is alwys involve in beef, this time with Taco Bell
50 Cent is suing the Taco Bell fast-food chain over claims it violated a trademark by using his persona without permission.Jump!
Taco Bell, owned by Yum Brands, wrongfully used Curtis Jackson's stage name in a letter sent to U.S. news outlets asking the performer to change his name to "79 Cent," "89 Cent" or "99 Cent," according to a complaint filed in federal court in New York.
The letter generated free advertising for Taco Bell and a false endorsement by 50 Cent, the artist claimed. Taco Bell, based in Louisville, Ky., confused customers about Jackson's affiliation with the food chain and diluted the distinctive quality of his moniker, according to the suit.
Jackson seeks at least $1 million in damages, payment of attorneys' fees and a court order barring Taco Bell from using his persona in the ad.

Here it is, or most of it anyways:
“Whoever reads this open letter, whether it be Allido Records, J Records or Rhymefest (I don’t care), listen very carefully.
To all rappers and producers: DO NOT LEAVE YOUR iPOD OR LAPTOP UNATTENDED WHEN YOU ARE IN A PUBLIC PLACE. I will get to that in a second.
First of all, I am a huge fan, and I love your music. I’m one of those people who consider you to be a highly underrated artist, partly due to the wack-ass label you signed to and their lack of promotion, partly due to how lame the Hip-Hop industry is and partly due to your inconsistent record releases. But, I’m going to help you. They say an artist can only create great art through great suffering. I’m going to make you a better artist, and I do this out of love for your music.
I’m not going to say where or when (because then you may realize who I am), but you were in a public place recently with your iPod hooked up to a sound system playing music for people, and I caught you slipping. You actually walked away for 15 WHOLE MINUTES!!! Then, you forgot it!!! Wow. I grabbed MAD music off of your iPod. And what did I find? A ton of songs you recorded for EL CHE. Maybe you shouldn’t label the songs soo obviously.
This sh*t sounds incredible. Actually, this shit is HOT FIRE!!! Why isn’t this sh@t out, ni**a? Don’t answer that. It doesn’t matter. I’m going to help you out, and here is why.
I bought BLUE COLLAR when it dropped. BLUE COLLAR and Busta’s THE BIG BANG were the most noteworthy releases that year. And you didn’t even go gold? How the fuck does that happen? Oh, my bad: J Records. But, I digress…
I went to some of your shows. I even traveled to see you perform when I could. Hot shit every single time, dude. You never disappoint. But, you would do shit on your MySpace that would build up a fan’s anticipation, and then you wouldn’t do sh*t! The EL CHE logo contest? You never said shit about a winner. The PLUGG CITY tour? My cousin submitted her info, and you never said sh*t about a winner. Who the fu&k does that? But, hey: I’m a fan. You must have had a reason, right? Don’t get me wrong: I’m not a Stan or some sh@t like that. I simply need you to do what you say you’re going to do.
Then, you claim that EL CHE was coming out last year. Then, it was this year. More contrived industry inconsistency. I’ve heard some songs like “Angry Black Man on a Elevator” and “Real Nigga Quotes” and I even heard “Exodus” for the 3.5 seconds you put it on your MySpace. That sh*t sounds incredible. I watched the YouTube videos with the Just Blaze and Jazzy Jeff joints. What the f@ck is up with that Jazzy Jeff project, dude?!? Either you or your label are some fuc*ing liars regarding what the f@ck is coming out, and I, for one, am tired of it. And, another thing: how the fu$k are you going to come at Lupe Fiasco for his political views when you didn’t even have an album out? Was you trying to get attention, ni@@a? Is that it? Attention for what? A new single? EL CHE??!!!?? I don’t see a release date, my ni$$a. Where art thou, release date?
Was it worth it? MAN IN THE MIRROR was dope as f^ck. Why the f*ck isn’t somebody trying to figure out how to sell THAT sh#t?!? I’m confused by you music dudes, for real. I love your s*it. I buy your sh@t. I heard you were working with Dr. Dre on DETOX. Are DETOX and EL CHE ever coming out, ni**a? I NEED NEW MUSIC.
I got songs from your iPod. I’m going to leak a record from EL CHE every week until you drop a single or a video or some sh@t. The people have NO F*CKING IDEA how hot this sh@t sounds. Well, I’m going to show them. You had everything on your iPod. Even old, vintage sh&t. I’m gonna drop that, too. Until you or your weak-ass label keep your word and start dropping some fu$king music. And, I’m not playing. I’m going to make you a better artist. I can’t wait to see what you do.
we give you the hottest and the latest of the best and worst music on the net, its always free so you cant really complain. Plus we bring you interviews, behind the scenes footage, and whatever else we feel like posting.
